Group Fitness InstructorWe are seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and results-driven fitness classes. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, thrives in a group environment, and can motivate participants of all fitness levels.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver structured, effective group fitness classes.Select appropriate music and incorporate safe, well-paced choreography.Demonstrate exercises while providing clear cueing and smooth transitions.Educate participants on proper form, modifications, and contraindications.Ensure safe use of all equipment and enforce studio guidelines.Welcome and orient new participants.Motivate members and create a positive, inclusive class environment.Monitor participants and make real-time adjustments as needed.Administrative ResponsibilitiesArrive prepared and start/end classes on schedule.Set up and properly store all equipment.Accurately record hours in the electronic timekeeping system.Operate studio sound and lighting systems.Secure substitutes when necessary.Communicate member feedback or concerns to the Program Manager.Promote gym programs, services, and special events.Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.QualificationsStrong knowledge of exercise science principles and safe training techniques.General understanding of anatomy and kinesiology.Experience with group fitness instruction, including music timing and cueing.High energy level and physical stamina.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and effectively.CertificationsCurrent Group Fitness certification (preferred).Specialty format certifications may be required based on class offerings.BenefitsEmployee discountsFree uniformsHealth insurance for eligible employeesOpportunity for advancementTraining & developmentBonus based on performance for eligible employeesCompetitive salaryDental insurance for eligible employeesFlexible schedulePaid time offTuition assistanceWe offer:Complimentary access to all our fitness centers.Work hours that fit your personal and professional commitments.On-site fitness classes, wellness programs, and a supportive community.Maintain and upgrade your certifications at little to no cost.Leverage our large member network to grow your business.Regular workshops and training sessions.Team-building events, wellness challenges, and UFC recognition programs!About UFC GYMThe ultimate "Big Gym" experience, UFC GYM raises the bar of what big-box gyms should offer their members.Members get everything they need under one roof – robust cardio equipment, coach-led group classes, weightlifting and free weights, martial arts and MMA-inspired fitness training, martial arts equipment, youth programming, personal training, yoga, Pilates, and more!Compensation: $35.00 per hour
